ZUBER & SALZMANN see themselves as spatial artists.

The duo consists of Franziska Zuber, a design teacher at iac SVEB, and Thomas Salzmann, who has many years of experience in craft and artistic creation. Their work combines art and craft and considers the space itself as an object.

 

Her artistic approach is based on the design of spatial and exhibition concepts in which the overall color design of the room is brought into harmony with the objects it contains. This creates immersive spaces that combine art and design.

 

Her work covers the areas of objects and interiors and includes vases, bowls, wallpaper panels and furniture. These objects are often not functional, but reflect a free, artistic interpretation and materiality that shows creative possibilities in design.
